                          GIF VIEWING HINTS

If you are new to online services you will quickly find that you can no longer simply click on a file icon from At Ease or your Finder Desktop and automatically have it open if you download it from AOL and don't have the creating application. To view most GIF, PICT, JPEG and Startupscreen files which could have been created by one of many applications, you must first launch GIFConverter and then select the file you wish to view via GIFConverter's File menu, Open command.

Most pictures, GIF and PICT, uploaded to America Online now are color pictures. You can still view them about as well or better than some of the scanned images in MacPaint. First, open the file. You'll not like what you see. So, un
